Koh Soh Chwan (Calvin.K)
Calvin is a producer/guitarist based in Singapore. He has sessioned for various local artistes as well as produced songs for them. At 14, he picked up the guitar as a hobby, which ignited his passion for music. He then went on to learn about music production and engineering which is his current focus in music. Calvin plays guitar in a local six-piece rock band Cirqa, where he has an outlet for performing and playing the guitar. He co-runs Clearwater Studio, a local home-based music production house. Calvin completed his Diploma in Music at LASALLE College of the Arts in 2016 and is graduating with a BA(Hons) Music degree from the College in 2022.
Work
Calvin has performed in multiple performances, most notably at the 49th Singapore National Celebration at the Singapore Embassy in Jakarta (2014), The Gold Ball (2014) by Gold 90.5FM, Class 95 with Sherman Zhuo (2018), Golf Tournament Ballroom Banquet at Hong Kong with Nick Zavior (2020) and Rock & Indie Festival (2020). He has also produced ‘Bua Loy’ by Reub. He is also one of the six winners for UCompose 2021, the first APAC Production Music Competition.
