Marta is an aspiring pianist and musician from Indonesia, specialising in classical piano performance. She was under the tutelage of renowned Singaporean pianist, Clarence Lee. She was professionally trained in the classical field from the age of six, with a background in pop and gospel music.

Marta sees music as a way to narrate stories and convey emotions. Moreover, her diverse background in music allows her to have unique musical styles and interpretations. Marta intends to further her studies in classical music performance. Aside from solo performances, she has also been involved in collaborative piano performances, accompaniment and chamber music.

Work

Marta's notable performances include LASALLE’s Bel Amour: A Valentine’s Season Piano Recital (2020), Global Transmission: A Musical Reflection (2021), and Piano Voyage VIII: A Night at the Opera (2021). Outside of school, she has participated in numerous competitions and festivals. Notable achievements include clinching Gold at the Ars Nova International Music Competition Online Edition (2021) and the 8th Asia Arts Festival (2021), as well as Silver at the 5th Overseas Performers' Festival (2021).

Back on home ground, she has performed in several Yamaha Jakarta home concerts and competitions from 2013 to 2017. Behind the stage, she has also worked for Piano Voyage VIII: A Night at the Opera as alliance manager and assistant stage manager.
