Adib Amsyar (Amthakid)

Amthakid is a hip-hop producer/artist born and raised in Singapore. He is also a member of a collective called Poncho Group FKA Ugly Boys. Amthakid is known for his seamless transitions between lyrics in English and Bahasa Melayu, and forging his own blend of eccentric, autotune-flavoured vocals over dark, atmospheric self-produced beats. He has performed at various underground shows in both Singapore and Malaysia, steadily gaining a following through heavy-hitting tracks such as ‘Well’ and notably ‘West’, featuring other local artists such as Akited and MEX.Jr. ‘West’ was featured on top local podcast OKLETSGO on the day of its release.
