Sri Alyssa Bte Azly (Ally)
Ally is a singer-songwriter who was raised by musician parents. Inspired by her parents’ passion for singing, she began singing at the age of nine, and gradually developed a strong interest to further pursue it. She started composing with her guitar/keyboard at the age of 12 in the comfort of her bedroom, expressing her personal journey in life through her songs. Ally is highly driven to be a music educator who appreciates music of all genres.
Work
Ally’s notable performances include Remembering LEE KUAN YEW (2016) at the National Museum Singapore, to commemorate the one year anniversary of the passing of Singapore’s founding father. She also performed for several events under Passion Arts, Cashew Zone Resident’s Committee, Jamiyah Children’s Home, and GRC Nee Soon. During her time in LASALLE, she has performed for the LASALLE Diploma in Music Showcase (2020) with her band Front7, as well as LASALLE’s Diploma in Music Level 3 recitals (2021).
