Yvonne Perianayagam
Yvonne Peri, an aspiring singer-songwriter, is graduating with a Diploma in Music from LASALLE College of the Arts in 2022. Yvonne’s desire for performing started when she claimed the second prize for singing in the AGNI 2016 competition. Since then, Yvonne has performed on several stages, including the LASALLE Diploma in Music Showcase 2021.
While working on improving her craft, Yvonne often posts covers of songs of various genres on her Instagram account and YouTube channel. Yvonne is also working on original music, inspired by her personal experiences, that she hopes others can relate to. Yvonne actively strives to be a better songwriter, performer and musician, and hopes her music will touch people.
Work
Yvonne claimed 2nd prize in the AGNI 2016 competition in the singing category, where she performed a duet with her classmate. She also formed a band with a few of her friends called hQ and performed a set of three songs in the Diploma in Music Showcase 2021.
