Donna is a former lifestyle journalist/editor. Her poetry, fiction and essays have been featured in anthologies and journals such as The Best Asian Short Stories, Meridian: The APWT Drunken Boat Anthology of New Writing, and the Quarterly Literary Review Singapore. She is interested in memory and identity-construction, and is working on her first novel.

Thesis work

Baby Gravy is a novel-in-progress that explores reproductive rights in Singapore, and the social stigma and systemic discrimination which still dogs single parents.
