Gracian Chua

BA(Hons) Acting
2019 — 2022

As a trans non-binary actor, Gracian has been working hard within the boundaries of what is societally accepted and breaking norms whenever possible. Their identity and beliefs are one of the reasons why acting is important to them. Gracian began acting in polytechnic as an actor and was the secretary of Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s English drama club.

They then decided to further pursue their acting career by joining the BA(Hons) Acting programme in LASALLE. Since then, they have been active in the industry working for SIFA 2021’s en route, The Runaway Co.’s W1Ll1am154 and NSFTV’s Girl Back Home. While in the BA(Hons) Acting programme, Gracian has played many roles like the wigmaker in Michael and Fay Kanin's Rashomon (dir. Samantha Scott-Blackhall), and Francis in Joel Tan's People (dir. Cherilyn Woo). After graduation, Gracian seeks to delve further into the performance industry and have fun.
