Reiko Lim Zhen Xiu

Reiko’s heart is fueled by all things dance-related. She is a responsible and diligent person who takes pride in everything she does. As a Level 3 student, Reiko was awarded the prestigious Wu Pei Hui Award for the academic year 2021/22. Being incredibly self-motivated, Reiko has participated in and won numerous awards in various competitions since 2014, including first place at Get The Beat International Dance Competition (2016), where she also finished top 10 in her age group. Being at LASALLE, Reiko has also worked with numerous local and international choreographers which has inspired her to cultivate a practice of her own.

Reiko is certified as a Progressive Ballet Technique teacher and is looking to get herself certified in other genres. Reiko has begun teaching toddlers and choreographing for kids' competitions. She aims to pass down her choreographic experiences and knowledge to the new generation of dancers. Being a natural performer, Reiko also wishes to continue pursuing dance for herself, in all genres and especially in contemporary, jazz and tap dance.
