Paul Lim Wei Xiang

Paul has long been interested in the theatre industry, graduating from Lighting and Sound in Nitec and then progressing to Performance Production in Higher Nitec. Despite the intensity and demands of the working environment, he is strongly drawn to the theatre industry — both the work and the wonderful people within it. Paul’s specialism is lighting, and he loves that technology is continually improving what is achievable. His goal is to be one of Singapore’s best lighting programmers, and to tour internationally with a theatre company.

Paul has also developed an interest in sound design, enjoying developing soundscapes and the creativity in producing sounds to mimic real-life situations. He is looking forward to an exciting career in the theatre industry, and working with the creative practitioners who make working in the arts so very rewarding.
