Wan Ying is a visual designer with a strong interest in image-making and conceptual thinking. She believes in the potential of imagery to communicate ideas and narratives. She approaches design through experimentation and comprehensive research into real world scenarios, with the goal of creating empathetic, relatable and impactful works that can evoke emotional responses.

Title Sequence++

Title Sequence++ is a collection of experiments that treats title sequences as found material, presenting iterations of how they can be manipulated beyond their conceptualised form. Acknowledging the ability of title sequences to condense ideas, moods and themes, this project explores the deconstruction of the medium by designing new ways to ‘read’ them.
