Jaey is a graphic designer and illustrator who is primarily interested in print, branding, illustration and craft. She finds the most joy and meaning in light-hearted and playful design that requires her to find imaginative ways to address everyday issues. When not designing, she is most likely drinking kopi c siew dai, trying to keep her house plants alive, or drawing.

Zines as Embodied Pandemic Documents

This project seeks to address and cope with the phenomenon of pandemic fatigue through the exploration of zines and the practice of zine-making; a format and approach that typically favours playful, graphical and personal ways of expression, as a means of redirecting interpretations of the COVID-19 pandemic.
