Simrita Dass
Simrita is a fashion and textile designer from LASALLE College of the Arts in Singapore, specialising in creative pattern cutting and tailoring. Her works are construction-based, which allows her to embed meaning into her garments. Her other interests include playing the piano, travelling and learning about different cultures. Inspired by values attached to traditional Indian garments, she hopes to provide wearers and consumers of fashion with an experiential journey through their garments, in contemporary styles.

This collection is inspired by the idea of ways of wearing and seeing, realised through an integration of design-thinking and creative cutting. This explores how one garment can be seen and worn in more than one particular defined way, distinct from conventional garments that are often defined in specific ways.
