Ian Teh

BA(Hons) Product Design
2020 — 2022
To Ian, design is closer to a science than it is to an art. He believes that design is all about creating the right strategy through a genuine understanding of the problem or situation. As a designer, he focuses on honing his analytical and observational skills every day in order to break his own boundaries. Ian now works as a product designer at Grab HQ in Singapore, where he designs digital products and experiences that directly impact millions of Grab customers in Southeast Asia.

Work

Swirly+

Swirly+ is a self-cleaning duster that allows homeowners to focus on keeping their homes clean. It replaces the conventional wet washing method with a dry cleaning method, repackaging the ordinary and boring duster with a more interesting look, so that homeowners can proudly display this cleaning equipment in their living room.
