Joey Quek

Joey has always had a passion for the arts since she was a child. Aside from learning to draw at a very young age, she developed a love for drama and voice acting, naturally picking up accents and impressions from the media she consumed. After joining the drama club in secondary school, she deviated from performance for a few years to explore other ventures such as studying and working in post-production.

Subsequently, Joey found herself wanting to return to performing, and so she joined the BA(Hons) Acting programme in LASALLE. During her time in the programme, Joey grew immensely as an actor and as an artist. Her artistic vision gained more vibrance and clarity, and she realised her affinity for the macabre. Moving forward, Joey hopes to explore the possibilities of visual arts and performance and to continue to grow as a multimedia artist.
